Ophthalmologist recommendation in Baton Rouge

Obviously I am genetically inferior to the true OTers and need a new eye doctor.
Anybody have a good recommendation? I would prefer to find one under 40 so I could get another 25 or so years out of them.
If I knew how to post pics I'd put some babe thread worthy pic here for your troubles:

Excellent choice, but not under 40.

Dr. Achord or the other lady dr. in her office. Next to Calandro's on Siegen.
They are both great, super nice, and they have the machine where you don't have to dilate your eyes.

Tom Heigle, MD...he is at Eye Medical Center at OLOL on Hennessey. He is about 47 years of age. Also a corneal specialist.

Optometrist is the way to go. They're smarter and better trained.

Fantastic doctor. He should be OPs number one choice.

What an uninformed statement. Optometrists have 4 years of training after college. Ophthalmologists spend 4 years in medical school, 4 years in residency, and may possibly complete a fellowship. Also, the admissions criteria for medical school tend to be much higher, and ophthalmology is a fairly competitive residency program.
