Thanks a ton, was going to order one today so my wife would quit nagging me to get one. Now that I can see some more that would be awesome. I like Weber and think they are good grills, but they just dont impress me for the money. If they were like $100-150 cheaper Id have just bought one. They just dont feel like they used to.

I've got a Phoenix grill from when they made an all stainless with stainless welded on end caps...going on 10+ years old...

Love it!

Holland Grille makes one comparable...no all stainless though...

Shoppers choice on Coursey should have those in stock.

If not for sure at their Airline Hwy warehouse.

I've had the pleasure of cooking on the smoking Cajun many times. It performs as advertised. Zero issues....extensive use for several years. However.......once it seasons, pretty much everything tastes like chicken. Steak...chicken. Sausage...chicken. Pork....chicken. Burgers...chicken.

On the plus side, it does make great chicken.

Check these guys out. I have the fryer and like it, grill looks pretty cool too.

R&V Works

These are very good, heavy built grills. I have both the fryer and the grill. Just my guess but I'd think if it's kept covered it would last a lifetime. It doesn't have exposed burners. It works like the fryer with heat tube. The actual flame is on the outside.

How loud is it? Does it really shoot flames out the back? Trying to keep it on the patio so this would be tough to deal with.

$700 for the 30 inch last year in August I believe. It is loud but very easy to control temps. No flames out the back. The wood chips box will catch flame if you don't keep it moist. The liquid tray really works wonders with moisture.

You might look at the three burner models of the Weber Spirit if the Genesis is too big. You save some space, and the price is only about $500. I've had one for years and been happy with it. The two burner models are quite small, but the three burner ones can hold plenty.
