Jordan Jefferson.
He is hated by most ignorant lsu fans and the kid had 2 decent years at qb and 1 bad one. His 2009 and 2011 season he had a higher qb rating than Flynn in 2007

For sure! I was always a big fan of Kirston. Kevin "Surfer Boy" Stelz could hit, particularly against MIssissippi State 2007.

This guy was never very good, but compared to Josh Gray, he was Pete Maravich.

Jefferson only threw 100 passes in 2011. I don't think you can even qualify his stats. Its not just that Jefferson was bad at quarterback, it was that when he wasn't on, he was literally the worst QB in the country.
Against Georgia in 2011 he was 5/13 for 30 yards and a TD.
Against Alabama later he was 11/17 for 53 yards and a pick.
Against Auburn in 2010 he was 7/14 for 46 yards and a pick.
His worst games aside, the issue everyone has with him is that he never developed year to year. His decision making never improved. His wind up took about 10 seconds and for a running quarterback, he didn't throw all that well on the move.
ETA: And he would do the Cam Newton-esque Superman thing from time to time which really bothered me.

Jack Hunt
I have no idea if he was a stud coming out of high school, I was 10-years-old his freshman year, but he was one of my favorite players growing up.

DJ LeMahieu Dude never sniffed an All Conference Team, batted at best .280, at the most 5 HR's and yet somehow I still think of him as one of the greatest LSU baseball players ever.
He led the 2009 team with a .350 batting average and hit .337 as a freshman

But I get your point.
There can be no argument, the most unappreciated was Danny Macray (sp?) That guy was reviled, and he turned out to be an adequate NFL player.
