I want a drink. I'm not trying to get a mother fricker to be flipping bottles in the air and making me fancy shite that is nasty anyway. This isn't bar rescue. This is me trying to get drunk

You must be thinking of that fruity bullshite that restaurants like Sullivan's pass off as martinis just because they're served in a martini glass.
A real martini is far from gay.
Hell, I'm the only female I've ever met who likes a legit martini (Gris Gris I think does too).

Not at all how a martini is made.
And anyway, I'm pretty sure Columns is the bar that someone said the other day they couldn't get a gin and tonic because the bartender had never heard of it.

All my girls pound them. I enjoy them too at lunch. (Vodka not gin)

It's just the glass it's served in. I get shite all the time for liking Manhattans.

None of my friends like gin
When I worked in bars, females only ordered "martinis" in the sense that they wanted a fruity cocktail strained and poured into a martini glass.
I blame restaurants and bars for this.. making a "martini list"

The guy obviously doesn't know the first thing about liquor, don't waste your time.

Sorry, an adult male shouldn't need to dilute liquor with soft drinks. What, is Jack Daniels too strong for your sensitive palate?

I'm not saying it is the best bar. I'm just saying it is a cool concept that you don't see everywhere. Like I said, I only go there to chase poon, and wouldn't otherwise

I'm a huge fan of $.25 martinis and/or $2 bucket at the Rib Room.

I will say that the concept of a martini has been hijacked at a lot of places to cater to females, ie appletini's

lol, you're so cute. Once you grow up and start meeting real adults, you realize most women love martinis.

Have you eaten there? Have you had the andouille crusted fish? I love that dish. I also think they do the best mustard greens I've ever tasted. I've done the chef's table twice and every bite of food was delicious. It's a solid restaurant.
BBQ shrimp app is tasty as is the smoked mushroom pasta app. The 3 course lunch in 30 minutes for $22.50 is a deal.
A professional chef might enjoy sitting at the bar in the dining room where you get a nice view of the kitchen.
I have a lot of favorites in New Orleans. So many from which to choose.

Don't be a dick. I worked in bars/restaurants serving liquor. It was rare a woman ordered your traditional gin martini.
And anyway, the point was that they're not gay. Lots of men like them.
