So you DO think that Les Miles played a player so that he could lose games?
So you were at practices to see why the decision was made?
I guess not you were too busy polishing your national championship trophies.

Miles has proven with Jefferson and now Jennings that the best qb doesnt always get the start. Because there is no doubt Mett and Lee were both better, and many suspect the same for Harris. And it blew up in his face for being a loud mouth. Which might explain to some degree why he is a high school coach.
And when you manage your first win as a coach at the peewee level, gheyhole, you be sure to let us know. In the meantime, STFU.

This is just STUPID GARBAGE.
This guy gets it.
Theres more to playing QB than running fast and throwing it a mile. Even if u are very good at these two things there is so much more to the position. People like our own Jamarcus Russell , who had an absolute cannon and incredible size, didnt make it a yr in the league. Ryan Leaf, Jeff George also underachieved with some of the very best arms ever.
Mike Vick, Cam Newton, and RGIII havent lived up to their own expectations.
A simple reminder by the QB to the Right Guard about something in the huddle could be the difference in the game. And u must have the respect of the team or youre all show and no Championships. LSU plays for Championships.
If any of u would care to look back u will see that Miles already has 1 title and was dang close 2 other times. He had to coach against Urban Meyer for six str8 yrs, while FSU and Miami gave up on recruiting and all the Florida talent was going to Gainesville. He had to coach against both MEyer and Saban on the field and the recruiting trail each year for a few of those years. People want to give Saban all the credit for running Meyer out of the SEC. But it was Miles and LSU that Meyer had to play each year and every other one in Tiger Stadium. He didnt want no more of that as it was, when Saban showed up, he was done.
Its amazing to me after all these years, people still question Miles on silly crap like this.
Really guys, do u really believe Miles doesnt play the guy that gives his team the best chance to win? In front of all the coaches, players, media he can get away with not playing the best players every yr.
Hes been successful in this league for 10 str8 yrs! U know playing Urban Meyer and/or Nick Saban, each yr. How does that compute?
When Harris wins the hearts of his teammates, he will play until then he can sit there or transfer.

Or I could just go to your house and see your trophy case because I know it is loaded with big time football championship trophies.
Amirite?

Hey now, this is the great David Feaster. Nobody hauls @$$ quicker at any sign of adversity than him.

How many times did DJ sit to let Buckworth play?
How many times did Buckworth get to start?
When Bucky missed plays did he sit?
How many loses did LSU have after Buckworth took over?

I couldn't disagree more about Lee. We don't even get to the NC if he finishes that game.
Coaching highly talented players is a bit more complicated than you think it is.
Do you think Miles doesn't know that BH is the more talented QB? Everyone in that locker room knows it, hell even AJ knows it.
But Miles is wasting BH's talent if he hands him the job without having to bust his arse to get it. No one ever appreciates something as much when they haven't had to work hard for it. Miles is trying to motivate this kid to maximize his preparation/effort as much as he possibly can as quickly as he can, because he knows he will eventually have to lean on him to lead this team.
But to let you guys run the team, you guys would say, "damn BH's preparation. He's better than AJ regardless of how he practices. Give him the job!" That's a really dangerous message you're sending to the rest of your team.
Miles hasn't handled this QB situation perfectly but I definitely agree with him going with AJ. AJ prepares better and has a better grasp on what the coaches want to execute, that's what we all have heard. They just want BH to get to the same level of preparation. By that time, BH will be performing at such a high level that no one will be able to keep him off the field.
But quit with this victim mentality. I hope BH really doesn't feel that himself, because the only people I've known to think like that were losers in life. If adversity is always someone else's fault then that person doesn't take any accoutability for the part they played in it. No one is keeping BH down but himself. Hope he realizes that soon enough.

Uh, Miles had 5 years knowing that Lee and JJ would be graduating. How did he fix that? He ended up with a 5* qb that he moved to wr, and finally had to grab a Juco transfer
Then he had 3 years knowing Mett would be leaving? How did fix that? By getting a kid from Ga that Richt did not even recruit, even though his dad was a former player.
And dont tell me about the near misses like Gunnar, Zach, RP, Rettig, Liggins, etc etc etc. Obviously they wouldnt have worked out either. Thats why they are no longer on the roster
So you answer your own question, JJ, a Juco transfer, RS, and Jennings. You think Miles knows what the hell hes doing at qb?
The Harrises may no longer think he does either
Posted on 1/29/15 at 6:53 pm to dgnx6
Exactly my point you idiot he came in so late he was only able to throw the ball once....
Posted on 1/29/15 at 6:54 pm to dgnx6
Let's talk about Jennings how come when he plays he isn't held accountable by the coaches.... He can go 1 for 20 and his srry arse would still be under center

it's not like Mett came out swinging. Obviously he developed under Cameron.

Cam is wonderful developing QBs Anothony Jenning, Brandon Harris, Hayden Rettig, Brandon Boldin, Stefan Rivers... And we average 150 a yards through the air.... And yes I know they transferred but he coached em

The real question I want answered is why did they even recruit Anthony Jennings? I like his effort, but Georgia passed on the kid. He wasn't highly recruited by anyone really in the SEC. He can't even hit a 5 yard pass. What on earth did they see?
Whoever wins this year will get the complete keys to the kingdom. I don't see there being a race between the two after this offseason.

In a development that had to have been as shocking to the Louisiana State University football program and its fans as it was to a legion of Los Angeles Dodgers cynics who were sure the club had deliberately thrown away its first-round draft pick on an unsignable player in an effort to save money, the Dodgers reached agreement with that first-round pick, right-hander Zach Lee from McKinney (Texas) High School, just before Monday night's deadline for signing 2010 draft choices. The deal, which is pending a physical examination that is expected to take place Wednesday in Los Angeles, carries a $5.25 million signing bonus that will be paid out during the next five years. It is the biggest signing bonus awarded to a draft pick in Dodgers history, shattering the mark of $2.3 million given to first-rounder Clayton Kershaw in 2006. Lee, one of the top high school pitchers in this year's draft, fell to the 28th overall pick because he let it be known before the draft it would take at least a $5 million bonus to get him to give up his football scholarship to LSU, where he would play quarterback in the fall and baseball in the spring.

Finally, it wasn't just the fact that Gunner Kiel decommited. When you recruit the #1 QB in the nation, you make certain promises to him. While I can't verify that the coaching staff ever told him this, I feel confident that he was assured he was going to be THE guy and we wouldn't go after anyone else if he signed with us. Then January 17th happened.
quote:
Gunner Kiel, the No. 1 ranked high school quarterback in the nation, did not show up at LSU Monday for a meeting of early football enrollees and is not expected to begin classes with the rest of the LSU student body Tuesday. "From what I have been told, he is no longer coming to LSU," recruiting expert Michael Scarborough of Rivals.com/TigerBait.com said Monday night. "He wants to come to LSU, but his mother (Aleta Kiel) got very emotional Monday and did not want her son to leave. He plans to enroll in classes at Notre Dame on Tuesday."
quote:
So he not only backed out of his commitment with us at literally the 11th hour as an early enrollee, he prevented us from attempting to recruit any other QB in the 2012 class. Hell, we could have gone after Jameis Winston if we had known we didn't already have OUR GUY.
