If you are planning on traveling to this game, you better start now trying to get a room. There is something else going on and it took the wife two days to find a vacant room for that weekend.

Comfort Suites on North Ave. are not the highest quality but usually have availability and are a three minute cab ride from downtown.

Yes there is a lot going on then. A half marathon, UGA softball, something at the Classic Center. Try the UGA hotel and conference center on Lumpkin.

Athens never has enough hotel space.
I always tell folks just stay in Atlanta, 30-45 minute drive and something for everyone to do.
