I got some boards off of an old horse stable/barn and most of them have some termite infestation. Not really sure what type of wood it is, but it's old rough cut with the big circular saw blade marks. I'm cutting off the bad ends and edges and there are termites in tunnels throughout alot of it.

I'm just using the wood for small projects like frames right now but don't want to bring that shite into my home with live termites in it.

What's a good chemical to spray on the wood to kill those bastards that won't cost me alot?

I found this stuff called Bifenthrin that's pretty cheap but it doesn't say if it kills them, just repels them. TIA.

Bifenthrin will kill them but you really need to soak the wood really good and the surrounding area so they won't escape.

Burn it

It may not be as old as you would like it to be. Just because it's roughcut lumber doesn't mean it's old. Boards that haven't been planed and finished will have the circular saw marks in them from a sawmill. It's not worth bringing termites home unless it's from the Ark or something.

Maybe Bora-care or BOR-RAM?

My opinion would be to not use the wood though.
