Is this a new thing or has it been going on for a long time? This was the first time i've gotten one.

Around 9:30 last night we get a recorded message saying something like " a hispanic male escaped from a deputy in our area. The person is in handcuffs. if you see this person contact the APSO, do not confront him"

Made it kind of tough to fall asleep.

Who would be afraid of a dude in handcuffs?

If they call back and say,

"He's outside of your house right now ... He is dangerous ... He has a weapon ... Look out!"

Would make for an interesting horror movie plot.

I just feel bad for the hispanic college student who happens to be walking around in handcuffs that'll be held at gunpoint until the identity confusion is sorted out.
