I loved y'all's restaurant suggestions for my last cheer trip to NOLA: Couchon, Couchon Butcher, Wood Pizza and Grand Isle were each perfect for what I needed. Heading to Atlanta soon for another cheer trip (yay), and would like to get some ideas for Downtown Atlanta dining. One restaurant will need to have entrees under $25 seat a group of 18 and have something on the menu that teenage girls will eat (pizza, salad, chicken tenders etc) while having good food and bar for the grown-ups...
Whatcha got???

By Downtown, I mean the area near the convention center...don't mind a short cab ride though - staying at the Omni...

Mercy, you might want to mo-betta describe what you mean by "downtown" Atlanta.

Teds Montana grill will be perfect for that group or Stats which is a sports bar owned by a Tulane grad

Strictly for entertainment value for a mob of that size, drag 'em to the original Varsity.

Max Lagers would be a good option, just not sure how easy it will be to fit 18. Stats as someone else mentioned is pretty average bar food but you can definitely get 18 in there for that price range. Varsity would be the easiest thing to do but I'd Google it and see if that type of dinner is what you want. You could always feed the girls cheap varsity food then go do your own thing. You can't walk there from the omni tho.

There isn't a ton of good options within walking distance of the omni but a mile away in west midtown has a ton of great stuff. Six feet under would be a really good spot to go based on what you wrote but with 18 people depending on the time and night you are going to have to wait at least an hour.
