Was Bradley Cooper in AS better than Ralph Fiennes in Grand Budapest?

I finally got around to watching Grand Budapest Hotel this weekend. Ralph Fiennes was really really good in it.

I'm surprised he was left off the best actor list for the Oscars.

Was Bradley Cooper that much better?

No not at all, GBH is a much better movie than American Sniper, and American Sniper is just getting nominations because of the influx of fake patriotism it has brought to movie watchers and the academy

Ive seen both and thought Grand Budapest was a great movie and Fiennes was awesome, but I think its harder to portray a real person. And I think BC did a great job in AS. Its close, but i give the nod to Cooper but thats only based on my idea that its harder to play a real person.

Can't get past Cooper's really bad accent.

And that plastic baby, come on.

I'm still not over the fact that Ralph Fiennes didn't win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Schindler's List.

To me, that ranks up there with Shakespeare In Love winning Best Picture over Saving Private Ryan.

Yeah that's pretty sad considering how great a job he did in GBH.

Cooper is doing an impression. Fiennes has a subtle, nuanced, beautiful performance in Grand Budapest.
