I re-downloaded an old app last night that I used to have but forgot about. It's called Sleep Cycle, and it's an alarm wakes you up in a certain time frame based on which stage of sleep you are in. Basically waking you up in your lightest sleep so you don't feel groggy or tired.

Best sleep of my life last night

I use relax fan. Basically it makes the sound of fans. I mostly use it in hotel rooms or anytime I'm not at home.

I use a similar app called Gentle Alarm. The alarm default duration is something like 8 minutes. The volume starts so low that it won't wake you if you're in a deep sleep cycle. The volume increases as your sleep cycle decreases so you never get surprised by the alarm. Works for me.

Math Alarm is the best alarm ever.

You have to solve math problems to snooze or turn it off and you can set the difficulty of problems.

I use "Rain Free" to go to sleep.. basically just a white noise rain and the standard alarm with "Old Phone" ringtone set for weekday mornings.

So what happens if I only sleep 3-5hrs a night? I also do not move at all when I sleep. I'd be fricked because the alarm wouldn't ever go off

I sleep right through ascending alarms. I have a clock radio set and then my phone alarm set for 3 minutes after that, but I usually wake up before my alarm anyway

I have an alarm that starts to gently wake you up a half hour before your wake up time. It starts off with a dim light that also heats up scented beads. Then 15 minutes before its time to wake up, the light gets brighter and starts playing a background sound. An alarm will go off if you make it to your wakeup time.

I almost never make it to the 15 minute mark, and I wake up feeling great.

I've also got the Microsoft Band, and I started setting my wakeup time around the time my Band says I'm typically in light sleep mode.

White Noise Ambience app. Put phone on docking station, turn on the floor fan simulator to max volume and go to sleep. I can't sleep without noise, and I don't want a breeze blowing in my bedroom in winter.

Use it every single night. Love it.
