More then anything, i think MLB needs to realign the league so fans get to see every team. As a Cleveland fan, i cant stand watching the Tribe play the Minnesota and KC's of the world. Make every team go to the DH and divide the league up by market size (since MLB has no salary cap). 16 in the major market division and 14 in the small market division. Play EVERYBODY in MLB. I think fans getting the chance to see new opponents would be great for the game and create new rivalries.

MAJOR MARKET DIVISION:

EAST:

NY Yankees
NY Mets
Boston
Philadelphia
Washington
Atlanta
Miami
Detroit

WEST:

CHI Cubs
CHI White Sox
Texas
Houston
LA Angels
La Dodgers
St Louis
San Francisco

MINOR MARKET DIVISION:

EAST:

Cleveland
Pittsburgh
Cincinnati
Baltimore
Milwaukee
Tampa Bay
Toronto

WEST:

Denver
San Diego
Arizona
Kansas City
Minnesota
Oakland
Seattle

As a Houston fan, I gives 0 fricks about most of the other teams within the division and I know the feeling is mutual. Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles coupled with Dallas and Houston. Makes a shite ton of sense. Not to mention most divisional road games start at 9:30 central. Thanks a lot Bud. You frick. Anything to make an easier path for his Brewers.

You realize that St Louis gets an extra sandwich pick each year because they are deemed "small market".
More of the legacy of Selig, one of the worst major sports commissioners of the last 35 years.
