Watching him live the last 2 years, Brock Berlin is the 1st name that comes to mind. Very calm and poised throughout the game. Never seems to get flustered. He's not going 80 yards untouched, but more than enough athleticism to pick up first downs when receivers aren't open.

I don't meant to be negative about the film but if I have learned anything the last couple of years watching this recruiting process its that highlights do little justice to the overall evaluation. I put more faith in things like you said since you have watched him for a while and know what his game tendencies are. Hayden Rettig's film looked like Phillip Rivers and he may still find success at Rutgers but evidently he didn't make the splash here.

Like I said earlier I still think he is the real deal but I wont fall for a film star that easy again.

This Jr QB kid is the 5A LA Offensive Player of the Year by the LSWA and is not even ranked by the services. He was one of three BTR players selected to the 5A State squad this year - the other two are committed to LSU with Guice being one of them. He has some pretty good film too...

Funny you made that comparison, because that's who he reminds me of as well.

I was about to post that exact comment, about Shea being another Brock Berlin.
