Good experience in the batting lineup. The pitching staff is talented but young (four freshmen pitchers are expected to have big roles), so a lot will depend on how quickly they develop.

Mainieri said at the meeting last night this team is the most talented group of players, top to bottom, that he has had at LSU.
He cautioned the big unknown is will the players work hard enough and believe in themselves enough to put their talent to work.
He said if they do, we're going to Omaha.
And incidentally, the entire team was there at the meeting and they heard his words. I tried to watch them as he was speaking to see how they were reacting to what he was saying and not a one of them showed any reaction....all sat completely pokerfaced. Bregman was sitting three seats from me and he never took his eyes off of PM while Mainieri was speaking.
I spoke to Jared Foster before the meeting started and asked him about his surgically repaired foot that forced him to miss fall practice. He said he's 100%, no pain at all.

Overrated nationally and by local fans, as usual... (until proven otherwise).

Not to mention Adam's position by position break down starts Feb 1 if I'm correct

No offense, but this sounds really gay.

Extremely good but could have some pitching pains with freshman but they are pretty damn good freshman. Should be in CWS but i don't think we will be in the championship though. We should be able to win it all within the next 3 years
