I've never seen a big sponsorship given to a natural. Mostly just pay for the tests, hotel stay, some food, tanning, and maybe training gear

It's been on my mind the last 2 years.. I'm 31 and I'm almost reached my full potential as a natural.
If I keep competing at a serious level, I might

I spent all of my 20's doing the body builder thing making gains, got up to about 5'9" 215 pretty lean, until I looked in the mirror one day and looked like a Squatty body doucher in dress clothes. Now, I've spent the majority of my 30s trying to be lean and mean. Now I'm prob 180. Would liked to be a leaner 165-170 by April.

Do more cardio than lifting now although still lifting occasionally. Just signed up to train and run my second marathon.

Raw competition bench. I'm rehabbing my legs from its third torn hamstring so full power is out of the question this year. If I'm successful it'll be 2.53 times body weight.

worried about the long term health problems with going that route? I've talked to a couple of guys I know in their 50s now that did that when they were younger and seriously regret it due to health issues. Is this a career for you or a hobby? doesn't seem like the health risk would be worth it unless the $$$$$ was huge

I did my thesis on steroids.. Yes it scares me. It is just a hobby, that is why I'm leaning more on the "No" side

I never got up to 215 but I'm shorter than you and have good genetics. at 185 I looked like a squatty body even when I was leaned out 185.

I'm 40 now and am trying to focus on major lifts for functional strength and losing weight to get leaned out I need to be in the 170s.

Natural Pro Card.

stop with this crap. If you want to have the handle LSUweights, you're gonna need to get on some anabolics.

ANY ADVICE FROM THE WEIGHT CROWD WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I've always been a runner but I'm making some drastic changes

Since the new year, I've lifted weights 4 times a week, followed by a 4 mile run.

Yes I know about not running after lifting, I've had some decent gains, but I'm ditching cardio. I'm starting with 3 meals a day

protein shake and breakfast bar for breakfast

something decent (maybe even a burger, but mostly chicken or turkey) for lunch

and a good dinner after I work out.

I typically eat twice a day.

new schedule:
Monday: lift
Tuesday: lift
Wednesday: 4 mile run
Thursday: lift
Friday: lift
Saturday: 4 mile run

new habits: protein shake, and 3 meals a day

goals: gain muscle and burn the small amount of fat I'm carrying in my belly (small) I want to burn 700-1000 calories when I lift.

my legs are already carrying muscle and definition as I've been running (mixed with excruciating stints on the elliptical and bike) so I'm focused on my upper body.

unnessessary to call him out for being natural and not taking the easy way out. if I wanted to do roids I could've been benched a house. not worth it.

Don't really need them.
I've done the Louisiana State Bodybuilding show 3 times (98% of the competitors on juice). I've won my weight class once over 3 juice heads. Came in 3rd once over 2 juice heads, and came in 3rd over 1 juice head
You gotta know what you are doing even with the juice.

I'd be interested in reading it if you wouldn't mind. I'm very trustworthy and won't share with anyone. My buddy is trying to get me on them and I don't know enough about them. Carson123987@yahoo.com if you're cool with it
