Again, no one is arguing against that. Would you agree that most would take Altuve's career .340ish OBP for 650 ABs per year with 35+ SB and above average glove at 2nd base over Fowlers .366 OBP in 450 ABs, 12 SB and below average CF glove?

Calling Altuve's season last year his career year isn't going out on the limb much. How many players have multiple .340 BA with 50+ SB seasons in their career?

Edit because Altuve graded pretty low with the glove last season too. I was wrong about him having a good glove.

I'm not saying Fowler is better. Just pointing out that Fowlers limited ABs had nothing to do with his high OBP, because it was right around his career average. That is who he is

I do expect Altuve to come back down to earth a little.
