It's clear to all of us, Les, Cam, the entire world he is the most talented qb on the roster...but it takes more than talent to run the show. You have to know the playbook and protections and everyone else's assignments or it will be a few sparkling plays surrounded by a bunch of botched ones.

Harris will have the deciding vote on who the starter is next season and that vote won't be cast on twitter or td.com.

It will be cast in the film room, the practice field, and in position meetings and offseason workouts.

If Jennings is the starter next year it's because Harris voted him in.

So we need to bring in Hugh Hefner?

His mechanics were atrocious. As long as he stays open to Cam's teaching and watches tons of film he's no doubt the starter next year. His arm talent alone has carried him this far but his mechanics and football IQ will hinder him for the time being.

Have to agree with that Tiger Ryno. Believe they want Harris to win it, but he has to show that he has the maturity and work ethic to study and put in the work. I'll give him a pass for his freshman year, but none this I don't know the offense or assignments after being here a year, and over a year by next fall. He wants to be great, greatness starts in the weight room and with preparation.

Harris is in control of his destiny. I hope he steps up the job. I have a feeling he didn't do that last year.

Toss dive left, toss dive right. Pass on third down.

everyone else's assignments

TE's - block every play
WR's- run block first two downs. On third down run a route (two WR on a route, shouldn't be hard to figure out)

Sounds about right.

Wasn't this exactly LSU's offense this year? Even with the guy who should know the playbook?

WOW. A sound QB post without the absolutes that not even Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, John Elway, etc will start over Jennings.

People need to get over the 2014 season and realize that the whole thing starts over again.

QB is up for grabs, several OL positions, the entire DL (now that Coach O is here) the entire LB crew (now that Coach Steele is here), and the CB position opposite Tre White.

Miles is in control not Harris. Jennings will start the next 2 years no matter what Harris does. I don't buy the " not knowing the playbook" crap. He sure looked like he knew the playbook against New Mexico st. Seven straight possessions leading to scores? Quit sipping the purple drank.

Who has reported he doesn't have good work ethic, doesn't put the time in the film room and playbook? Whoever has, doesn't know what they're talking about and must be a Miles pumper. And his mechanics are fine.

Bottom line is, in reality he is better than Jennings in all measurable areas. And can anyone claim that Jennings could complete 8 consecutive touchdown drives against even a JC?

This thing has become so absurd, as whatever thing this kid has done to get in Miles's doghouse, if anything, is no reason to hold him out forever. All I've seen and heard about with him has been described as showing maturity, being a great example on how to handle this ridiculous situation, and continuing to be a great ambassador for LSU.

This is just another Moronic insecure Miles (who can't be wrong) schism that is even worse than the Jordan Jefferson debacle, as Harris is far more talented than was Lee.

Once again, a MAJOR cog in the future of rebuilding for next season.
