80% of his rebounds are with no one around. I know there is a contested rebound statistic, but I don't buy it. He struggles rebounding in traffic. Especially if he's fending off another player.

I will say I don't think it has anything to do with his hand strength. When he palms the ball, it looks like he's holding a semi-soft.

When I went to the Wizards game, I particularly watched Omer in warm ups. He's has a nice touch around the rim (when no one was guarding him). Idk what it is when he gets in the game and becomes the clumsiest dude we've ever seen?

"Get off of my lawn with those fancy cameras!"

A computerized eye test that looks at literally every second of play with criteria, not bias. Or your eye test on the moments in a game that stand out to you. We're all going to be replaced by computers sooner or later G.

The criteria for a contested rebound is a defender within 3.5 feet. It'd be great if we could set our own criteria maybe the figure is 80% if you go down to 2 feet, but at 3.5 feet he gets 4.6 contested rebounds per game vs. 5.4 uncontested or 54%. 4.6 is 10th in the league, so applying the same criteria to every player, he gets the 10th most "contested" rebounds. I could be wrong, but I don't think if you changed the criteria to say 2 feet that he'd fall that far on the list, but I would agree with you in that based on my own eye test I doubt he would go up in rank.

You're not at the top of the league in rebounding if you struggle rebounding in traffic. Sorry, you're just not

Looks like he's not the only big struggling wth TO. Marc gasol is as fundamental as they come.,, survey says!

Has nothing to do with hand strength. His hands are big since he is a big person. If he improves his hand strength he wouldn't lose the ball so easily because he would be able to dominate it more instead of fumbling it away. I hope I am making sense.
