For those who want Harris to start, did you forget the Auburn game?

A lot of people want Harris to start because Jennings played so badly, but did you not watch the auburn game? Jennings scored 0 points! Harris was the only QB that led us to a touchdown against Auburn, but I rarely see this fact mentioned. We watched Harris outplay Jennings but most people don't bring it up. Just making sure y'all didnt forget about that game, looking forward to 2015 when we shock the world with our turnaround, geaux tigers!

That whole situation sucked. The environment was so hostile and both stunk it up. Should have kept Harris through the rest season and let him take his bumps and improve.

I agree with you and that is why Harris should have started a game like SHSU to get his feet wet. Going into a top 5 game on the road is quite the test... He wasn't mentally prepared to start.

Harris looked good in his limited opportunities against miss state and New Mexico state. We saw in those games that he doesn't lack talent.
He was not ready for the environment in Auburn, he was in over his head there.
I think with more preparation and experience he will get better.

So it's okay for Jennings to be horrible against every team, specially inferior teams like new Mexico state? But if harris has one bad half on the road against Auburn he should never play again? That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of.

Also, Harris outplayed Jennings in every other game they competed in.. including spring game.
It's literally 1 bad start.. JT Barret a REDSHIRT freshman had 1 bad start with 3 INTS AT HOME vs pathetic virginia tech and they lost.. but he went on to have a heisman-like season.
You say did we forget the Auburn game..

2 INTS, 1 fumble?, -21.5 QB RATING lol
Or did you forget how Harris lead the Tigers to 9 consecutive TDs on 10 straight possessions on offense? and the 10th was not a TD because time was running out and we went for a hail mary to win the game. He had us in position to beat Mississippi St on a final throw to the endzone.
The offense stalled in the redzone with Jennings because there was no true threat either way, but under Harris the offense thrived converting drives into ACTUAL TDs.. something that hurt us even in the ND game..
