Where do you think Jozy ends up this month? MLS or Europe?

I think he stays in Europe. Even though there are hundreds reports of MLS teams interested in him (which they are always interested), I think that the news media are just making this up.
If Jozy was only about money and going to the MLS, he would have done so two years ago.

Fingers crossed that it's France.

this or Germany. If he goes to Germany, Jurgen will let him start up top til he's 40 years old. hahah

I'm going for MLS. Normally when I feel like a player has a bright future I would want them to play in Europe, but I feel like at 25 we have already seen the best of him.
I feel bad saying that, but I just have that gut feeling that the best of Altidore is done with, and hopefully I'm wrong.
I think it will be more beneficial to the growth of the MLS, and ultimately US soccer, and his confidence if he moves back.

I wouldn't put a center forward's prime at 25. That's too young, I think 28 is a more realistic number.

Honest question though. Do you see him having a productive season in England, Spain, Italy, or Germany?
Because, I don't know how he is going to rebound from this and I think he could do well in the MLS, but I'm not sure if he is good enough to rebound and become productive again in a top 4 European league.
When I say "best of" I mean that he will be productive and become the player that we thought he would have became before going to EPL.

I agree. Two ways to look at this. His "best" as a club player and international player are two different things. I think he has just about peaked for the USMNT, but we are ok with that. As for a club, he can definitely produce more on a different team in the future depending on where he goes.

Drogba didn't show his potential til he was 25. Just go look at his goal scoring record on his wiki article. The prime age of a hold up striker is a bit higher. I would say 28 seems about right.

I would like to see him have one more go in Europe. Then I can close the book on Jozy's potential.

I'd be surprised if Jozy gets another chance at another European club in a top five league. He could easily go to one of the smaller European leagues, but I think he'll opt for the big MLS payday.
