Mickey is softer. Martin had a bad offensive night . mickey had a decent offensive night but a horrible defensive night. The good news is not many sec teams have solid big guys that can give us problems. The basketball team needs a new s&c program very badly. our players looked weak compared to the uga players.

The JM's need at least another year in school just to get a little more polish, but most importantly, to get them both that much closer to a degree. They are not NBA material, as of now.

They padded their numbers on a weak non-conference schedule. It will be interesting to see how they perform now that they have to face real competition.

Neither looks NBA ready, but Mickey looks closer IMO. We'll see how they develop. Lots of season left.

I hate to agree with this "soft" bit, but it's unfortunately true of Martin and Mickey. Tigers will simply need to get these two big men to step up their game (soon)! As Shaq said on TV, these guys need to get a little "mean" with their play ...

He would do fine in the NBA. His defense was particularly good last night. You just can't expect intensity from big men that you only give a few minutes of rest to each night. CJJ was slightly better with sub's last night, but he was late to pull Martin and Mickey and he reinserted them less than 60 seconds later. CJJ also has to stop using Bridgewater as a PF, especially with Martin.

I see both of the JM's needing to get tougher; especially when it comes to playing base defense and rebounding. Yes, they can both elevate and Mickey is a good shot swatter but the fierce, competitive side of top-level basketball is what I see them lacking. Quarterman has that attitude I'm speaking of. From what I've seen of Simmons he has it too. To maximize their great potential, the JM's need to find it.

They both have no chance at first round. I've said this all along neither can create their own shot, neither can explode to the rim, neither can play on ball D. Just above average college players right now. If they leave they will be D League/International at best . They could develop here with more year and possibly get in the first round . A lot will depend on their handlers .

I've only gotten to see 3 games this year but from what I've seen, Mickey may be a more valuable player for us right now but Martin is the guy most likely to make it in the NBA. I don't really see Mickey getting a significant role in the NBA unless he improves in a lot of areas. Just my opinion
