No, it's not. It's also the donors, the administration, the stadium, the facilities, the in-state high school talent, the fan base, and etc.

I fricking texted a friend of mine about this thinking it was real. I'm sure he's on Facebook bragging about it. Thanks, assholes.

Miles better sweep the leg and hire O. Him going to Auburn would only be eclipsed by him going to Bama.

I would only assume O would be taking the position formerly held by Trooper Taylor.

Did I say only thing? No. I said main part. Without a good AD and coach, all the other stuff is useless. And to be an Elite program, you'd have to be good in all those areas, not just some.

LSU is not elite right now. And before you comeback with "Neither is Auburn", I never said they were.

The only thing LSU has on other programs is LA talent with no competition from other schools and Tiger Stadium.

Other than that saying LSU is middle of the pack SEC would be generous

I don't believe this about Orgeron going to Auburn. Why would they be trying to hire him now when they could have done this several weeks ago when Muschump arrived on the Plains?

I think this is bunch of BS.

Coach O to AU -

Crazy that he thinks being a defensive assistant to Boom is better than DC at LSU.

Les is too comfortable with all his yes men around. Ed Orgeron would probably make him uncomfortable and would clash with Les.

Les has already tried to hire Orgeron twice before. It's more than obvious that Les wants O on the staff, but that doesn't mean he's willing to fire one of the most respected DL coaches in the country.

I refuse to believe O is going to go somewhere as a position coach. if hes coaching next year, its as a DC or a head coach

Oh I definitely think he would take a position coach job for at least a while at a prominent program just to stay in the game. If you ever hear him when interviewed on SiriusXM or elsewhere, the guy is almost pathetic in expressing interest in getting back into it. Fearful he will be like Houston Nutt and never get another job. Hell even Chizik with continuing Auburn money until mid 2016 (200K monthly!) took a DC job at UNC. And UNC will suck for the foreseeable future.
