After watching several minutes of some of the games this year, the seven letter dirty word is never mentioned DEFENSE!

They do not have a clue how to play DEFENSE and that is what win championships! Turnovers and Defense will place them in the lower echelon of the SEC this year!

LSU actually has the 48th best defensive efficiency holding opponents to 93.4 points per 100 possessions. The turnovers are a problem, but overall we have looked much better than a lower echelon SEC team... Maybe if you watched more than several minutes of some games you could come up with a better troll.

Well said sir. JJ loves to play man and quick guards sometimes pose a problem for his team but some of that is negated by pretty good post defense. I've a feeling we'll see him break out more zone against teams that are guard oriented.

Really encouraging about the defense stats. Of course there's room to improve but that's better than I thought.

That's the good. The bad is that ranking has come against the 307th worst "offensive" schedule in the country. I'm still not sold on them being a good defensive team just yet
