Go. Experience it. Then come back and realize that everyone who claims high fence on 4000 acres is a can hunt has never stepped inside a wildlife managed property before. If the people run the place decently you will enjoy it and see some good deer and not so good deer.
Personally I hunt between tall pines in MS and wildlife managed in South Texas. (3k acres high fenced) both are great hunts. Ive spent days in the woods and seen deer come and go and done the same in Texas. When you start looking for the right deer instead of any deer the hunt changes. Have fun and drink some whiskey.

There's canned hunts then there is high fence hunting. That fence has nothing to do with how wild the deer are in most cases.
True. I wonder why it matters to so many people how others spend their money though. If you can afford it and want to do it, then go do it. It may not be for me, but as long as its legal, who gives a shite.

Fair enough, but would you agree that the hog and coyote problem is significantly less than the other side of the fence.
Hogs, probably
Coyotes, no

ive decided to pass. Mainly because my dad cant go with me. I just wouldnt have fun by myself knowing it was him that got it set up
for me then he cant go. I may get another chance sometime, but for now i let him know i am going to pass on it.

Only so I'd have first hand experience to base my prejudice of others by. BTW I'd also make DARN sure I didn't shoot no 139-1/8" buck.

I'd hunt anything given the chance.

Pic of a buck in one of the local pens. Had to whistle at him to make him pick his head up from eating. Pic was taken from the road in my truck. Notice they forgot to take the price tag off of him.

Negative. I'm sure I'll get downvoted but that just wouldn't sit right with me.

That tag is to identify and track. He's meant to bring in new genes so the population doesn't get too inbred. If you follow any form of state wildlife management program it is a necessity. After a few years he actually becomes a cull buck and needs to be taken out.
