What I want to know is does the op consider white working class voters important?
Because in 10 years they won't be compared to other social and economic classes.

Of course they are important. If you don't think so ask Harry Reid. Or tell me they aren't important when Obama is trying to convince a Republican Senate to confirm a Leftist Fundamentalist to The Supreme Court a year from now.
To say otherwise is vapid. But I agree that the demographics are changing, but I will suggest they change in ways that NONE of us understand because it always unfolds in unanticipated ways. I think Hispanics and Asians will break with Democratic Party over time for numerous reasons. Families intermarry, old identities die, groups evolve politically over generations.
