And if it wasn't for Romo replacing Weeden, even though he was injured, they probably would have won vs. Washington.
I'd give it to Murray before I give it to Romo. He's been playing well this year, but they are riding victories on Murray's back, not Romo's arm.

Furthermore, the games Dallas lost this season have a direct correlation to Romo.
Loss vs SF- Romo was rusty and still bothered by offseason back surgery
Loss vs Wash - Romo knocked out of game with broken back
Loss vs Arizona - Brandon Weeden started because of Romo's broken back
Loss vs Philadelphia - played the previous sun night vs nyg and didn't get home to Dallas til 6am mon morning. Romo played with little to no rest and didn't get his shot in his back before the game

I really like Romo and he was my fantasy starter all year but he was outside of the top 10 in QB points heading into last weeks game. He had a great year but he was not MVP material

Again, that is because he doesn't have the volume because he missed a game and a half. Every stat that proves Qb efficiency he is 1st or top 3 in.
And I don't think you can use fantasy football to prove anything. A QB can totally suck in a game and throw 2 garbage TDs and go over 300 yds, like Brees did vs Dallas, and have a ton of fantasy points

Rodgers is ahead by 500 yards and 4 TD's while tony missed 1.5 game. Not like he has that much more volume. Especially considering the time Romo missed and the fact that he's played most of the season with a broken back

How many Rbs could you switch and put behind Dallas' offensive line this Sunday vs Washington and get the same production as Demarco Murray
How many Qbs could you switch and put behind Dallas' offensive line with dez, witten, and that run game and get the same production as Romo?
Answer: bout half

Cowboys fan here. If Watt doesn't win it's a sham

Who has played better?
Rodgers. More Yards, TD's, less INT's with almost 100 more passing attempts. Only thing Romo has Rodgers is completion %, which correlates with the 100 less passing attempts.

A lot. They have the best offensive line in football

He will get fricked like Brees in 09.

I'd guess close to 100 if we are counting college. Seriosuly. Running backs are so useless.

If Green Bay loses Sunday and the Cowboys win, I think Romo gets it.

You know this has been a shitty year of football when Tony Romo leads the league in any category other than games being blown.

Tony Romo is WAY more valuable to the cowboys than Murray.

no.

The only reason Tony's stats are that good is because of Murray. Romo is not an elite QB.

Not true at all. Murray hasn't been all that great in December and Romo has been perfect.

I didn't realize MVP was based on performances only in December.

Romo's current passer rating would be the 6th best in NFL history. Romo's QBR is higher than Peyton Manning's was in 2009 when he won the MVP.
Just for some perspective.
