I don't like the idea of some fat a-hole flying around the world at something like 4,000 x the speed of sound to stuff his arse down a chimney.

Nah, Jesus has too much of a religious spin.
Santa is just magical and mysterious, and he'd have no alternative agenda if he was real (I realize now people feel Christmas had a commercial agenda).
If Santa was real, he would just be doing things that are wonderful, mystical, and spreading cheer.

Why do we need Santa? Isn't it a Jesus holiday? What about Easter? Isn't Jesus enough? If not, why not?
I wonder why we need all this extra stuff if the Jesus deal is real. Seems like it's enough by itself if you believe. why add on all this extra crap?
Maybe the true believers are not so sure? Maybe it helps recruit Jews? What's the point?
