Or 8 years, heading into year 9 in 2015. Given that Harbaugh is an alumnus, and assuming he takes the job, I could see him at Michigan longer than five years. However, he's still climbing the ladder and not on the back end of a career like Saban. Jim Harbaugh is still only 50 years old afterall.

dude's gonna have to mellow out a bit for his longevity. he's gonna build Michigan up, they're gonna win, and then he'll be old for his methods. i can't see him becoming a Spurrier or Snyder type personality, and he'll never have the gravitas that kept Joe Pa around
