I'm sorry that I think it's stupid that something remains illegal when nobody can provide a half decent justification for why.

there is no good reason why it should be illegal. Alcohol can be just as destructive, if not more. No argument from me. We've turned a lot of people into criminals over this stupid issue.

If marijuana became legal, give me one good reason why cocaine and heroin should remain illegal

i have never done either, but my assumption would be that cocaine and heroin are more addictive and more physically harmful than marijuana. correct me if i'm wrong, of course.

Humans have evolved along with marijuana. It's why the human body has THC receptors in all organ systems. It is therapeutic for a wide range of conditions. Most of the propaganda against it comes from the money and power flowing from corporate lobbyists whose constituents have a vested interest in keeping it illegal. But we already know all of that.

More people enjoy alcohol over pot.

Weed is illegal for one reason - the beer and liquor lobby.

I can give you reasons but good ones, no.

Ethanol and nicotine are more addictive that's why they are legal. And note, I didn't say destructive I said addictive.

No spot test exists for determining whether a person is currently stoned and to what degree they are impaired.
Until a rapid assay akin to an alcohol breath analyzer is fully developed and commonly commercially available, I would not support legalization.
This comes from a person who regularly entrusts his life to other people who he expects to be stone cold sober. Also a person who has witnessed fatal gruesome injury attributable to intoxication.

This has very little to do with whether or not pot is legal or illegal. The bottom line is, get a majority of people to enjoy pot and it will suddenly be legal.

I don't think it should be criminalized
I am not sure if it needs to be legal either
How's that for playing both sides of the fence?

Beer doesn't give you reefer madness. Obviously.

There's no way to test if you're high at work like there is a breathalyzer that can be used for alcohol. No tests exist for maryjuwanna.
**Note: I think you should be able to smoke at night like you do a beer/wine.

Why can't they both be legal? No reason to disparage alcohol by comparison (although I don't think that is what you meant to do).
