Actually, we had just lost the best coach in the country to the NFL. Y'all act like keeping Saban was option.

Who didn't want to be here and was flirting with the NFL every year.

The love affair for a coach who kicked us in the nuts for a Christmas gift when leaving and made fun of our fans when he came back to college is sick to the point of making me throw up.

When Saban left LSU was out of the SEC race in October, had nine wins, and was barely a top 20 team. No way in the world was Saban seen as the best coach in the country. More delusion by the retards here.

No, that was USC with Pete Carroll. You know, the guy who had offense to go with his defense, and actually succeeded in the jump to the NFL.

Saban learned his limitations in Miami, and found the perfect place to rebound: a place with unlimited funding, excellent resources and recruiting potential, desperate enough for wins to put up with his ego-maniacal ways, and he struck gold.

I wonder if our (LSU's) fanbase is any more delusional than, say, Oregon's. One day, USC will get the right guy, and the Pac 12 will belong to the Trojans again. When that happens, will the Ducks fans start demanding they demolish everything they've built?

The coach in the country you speak of , is at best a good coach , but a smart man . Recruiting = $$$$ as in "What you gonna give me to save your butt" LSU needs to up the $$$$ or bennies when recruiting . It is not about the school education , pr the coach .
