NNE wind @ 3
Tripod over looking cut beans and food plots
Hoping to catch a big one making rounds
ETA: Oh and 10% chance of rain. I must be getting 100% of that 10% and not an ounce of rain gear was brought to the stand
Got to be a sign of good things to come right?

Sitting on our low fenced property
Brought my rattling horns just in case
Anything with horns will most likely die

Climber in oak bottom. Still way too many acorns around. Had something pass through before light, aggravating. Big buck only from here on out.

Future wall hangar just cruised through the field by himself. Maybe big nasty will soon follow.

Office chair
comfortable temp overlooking a desk and monitor
Living vicariously through all you guys in the field. Daughter's college graduation this weekend so no opp for me in the woods but I will be eating some deer meat. Looking forward to next hunt and to reading about all the bloodshed this weekend.
Good luck and be safe

Hunting private land in EBR parish. Still bow hunting...
Just shot a buck. Shot was a little high and not much penetration. Laid down about 30 yds from me with head up. After 2 minutes he stood up and I had a shot. Made what I think was a good shot and he took off. We'll see. First shot hurt him pretty bad but I don't know if it would kill him. Hopefully second shot finished him off. Shot at 6:30, giving him some time.
