Kevin Mawae isnt a coach now, but nearly got the LSU Oline job this past year. He'll be a position coach at a mid level school soon IMO.

T.C. McCartney, grandson of former Colorado coach Bill McCartney, and former LSU walk-on QB, is an Assistant Coach with the Cleveland Browns.

You have to think that Steve Kragthorpe will be one soon. The guy has that pedigree with his dad and grandfather both being coaches and he already acts like one on the sideline.

Just because he applied doesn't mean he nearly got the job

His son was on the OSU team.
He was, and if I'm not mistake, played at least a couple of years with the Redskins.
