Cam says they will change the offence some but still run the power I. That's fine but they better run at least 65 % option and shotgun or they are just blowing smoke like they always do. we have one more season where we are 199 out of 125 colleges in passing they have to go.

Thanks coach.

Ok Les Miles is the master of telling people what they want to hear and doing exactly what he wants to do instead. So now you are going to listen to his good friend and OC and expect to get anything different. This is just another shinning example of "believe it when you actually see it"

I believe LSU wants to break old tendencies and that's why they hired Grimes to recruit more athletic lineman. It will be a slow transition to an improved offense. Miles knows his way can win games, but I think he understands the new dynamic of college football. As long as we can still run power on short yardage and goal line, I would be happy to seeing more spread, zone-read offense. Please don't lose the power element though. I hate seeing teams line up in shotgun on the goal line.

I would certainly like to see some new flavours introduced into the scheme of our offence. I think this is necessary if we want the honour of competing for championships. Our defence will be high calibre, but it can't be the centre of our whole gameplan.

What you did there, I see it!

Wow, great stat. Seeing how efficient and how talented we were at wideout and qb, what did you rank in passing attempts?

{we are 199 out of 125 colleges in passing }

But we still finished in the top 10 in defense at #14.

Mett finished 75th with right around 25/game.

Hill also averaged 6.9 ypc last year.

We were balanced. Throwing the ball a lot is not a good thing.
