It's definitely rare, but not shocking. Approximately 1.56% of families with 6 children will have all girls or all boys.

Can't be that unusual. I had four brothers, no sisters, and have two sons, no daughters, two grandsons, no granddaughters.

One of Jones' best friends is a male and has SEVEN brothers.. no sisters.. and every single brother has only sons.

The friend just had a little girl a year and a half ago, and that princess is the most loved little girl I've ever seen

One older bro here. I know 5 families with 5 or more brothers (4 are all brothers, 1 has a random sister thrown in there). Two are LDS, one is devout Catholic, one is evangelical, and the other just had randy parents I guess. Old folks don't count (because families were just bigger) but my dad is one of seven brothers. He also had five sisters. The eldest is 25 years older than the youngest.

My dad was 5 of 12, 6 girls and 6 boys. I have two younger brothers and an older sister.
