People also dont understand that the night games usually means less time the recruits spend with the coaches. The coaches are preparing their team to play not running around playing patty cake with parents. When the game ends and it is closer to midnight, they still arent running around playing patty cake with the parents. Earlier games means more time after the game to spend with the recruits. we play there every other year anyway. For the 2015 cycle, we can say your parents can come watch you in Austin in 2018.

What in the world are you talking about???

And you think a Texas recruit will be more inclined to sign with us because LSU will play UT in Austin in 2018???

Good god, man.

Coaches seem to think so. That's been cited as a reason for most home & home series agreements. And the reason A&M quit playing us back in the 90s (they were loosing too many Texas recruits).
