Why are you slapping your face at me??? You honestly think one bowl game makes a real difference in recruiting??? As if a very good player is on the fence between us and Texas and decided to attend LSU because we beat them??? Come on, now. The recruit can see all of our games on TV. He already knows exactly who we are, who the coaches are, what schemes we run, our win/loss record, and our ability to put guys in the NFL, etc. To think it gives us any material advantage is just a stretch.

People also dont understand that the night games usually means less time the recruits spend with the coaches. The coaches are preparing their team to play not running around playing patty cake with parents. When the game ends and it is closer to midnight, they still arent running around playing patty cake with the parents. Earlier games means more time after the game to spend with the recruits.

we play there every other year anyway. For the 2015 cycle, we can say your parents can come watch you in Austin in 2018.

What in the world are you talking about???

And you think a Texas recruit will be more inclined to sign with us because LSU will play UT in Austin in 2018???

Good god, man.
