It's been time for him to go and I really like him as a person. One of his problems is he is too loyal to assistants. He has let some coaches just hang around way too long like Lark Hebert for example.

They also don't seem to recruit the same type of defensive players as in the past. I can remember them having Joe Judge and Hadley Prince as the starting safeties and both were All-Americans.

Their biggest issue is that they have sucked at getting size on the defensive line, especially at the defensive tackle position. A couple years ago, their defensive tackles were the size of an average LB. They have had some decent defensive backs the past few years, but I agree overall nothing compared to those they had in the 1995-2003 era.
