No, Ohio State has 12 wins while any team in the Big 12 would only have 11. The lack of conference championship game is going to bite the conference in the arse whenever there are 1-2 loss champions in other conferences

In 2008, the 5th tiebreaker for a 3-way tie to send a team to the conference championship was BCS ranking.

Art Briles voted Texas 10th in the coaches poll and Oklahoma #1.

10th? Wow. Has he ever explained why?

The Small 9 Conference can blame this entire mess on t.u. Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and A&M all left because of those greedy S.O.Bs and now Baylor and TCU, who should never even be in the conversation, are winning the conference co-title. It should not be a power whatever conference until it gets on the phone and begs Houston, SMU and (weird) Texas State to come on board. After that it has years to prove worthiness, then we talk. OU should have left when they had a chance.

It is a really dumb idea to only have 4 spots and 5 conferences. It's easy for them to keep TCU or BU out, but imagine if it were Texas, it would be a disaster.

Wrong. That is the type of thinking the computers eliminated. The committee is 100% subjective just like the polls are.

Computers are subjective too--the designer's boases determine which factors are most important.

But they're still better because based on those factors, they will evaluate Bama the same as Mississippi State, Oklahoma the same as Baylor, tOSU the same as Indiana, etc. if the teams have the same resume.
