Am I missing something? Why is TCU ranked ahead of Baylor? Both have 1 loss and Baylor won h2h match-up.

Good answers guys. Thanks.

Main reasons why TCU is over Baylor:
1) SOS is terrible
2) TCU played Minnesota!
3) Baylor beat TCU* (At home isn't really a win)
4) TCU beat Oklahoma & Kansas by a combined 8 points but Baylor beat them by a combined 74 points (showing off)
5) Baylor lost to WVU and TCU obviously squeaked past them for a lucky victory.
6) Baylor gave up 58 points to TCU

A 3 point win at home in a game where you trailed by 3 scores is basically a wash.
Baylor won. But they're really not better.

Gobuxgo5,
Thank you. This board would make Ferguson, MO look like a daycare's playground if LSU was left out of CFP in this situation.
Is this a joke?

In that case, Clemson, boston college, Louisville and UF should get in over FSU. You guys looked weak!!

I do remember when this "wash" scenario came into play.
Senior year high school. 1st playoff game at home.
We won by 3 regulation, but refs called it a tie.
Had to go to OT and lost, shite.

Which one of those teams are undefeated?

TCU isn't undefeated. They lost to Baylor. Both have 1 loss. Your argument is garbage.

I'm not rooting for Baylor at all. I do have a slight problem one can be 3 and one can be 6.
I do think if Baylor beats Kansas st they should be ranked ahead of TCU.
Still think OSU should be #4 and BOTH TCU & Baylor can go play each other again on a neutral field in a bowl game.

I was replying to your post about teams Florida State played. Your ability to follow a thread is garbage.

The Baylor/Kansas State game is setting up for Baylor to get their shite wrecked.

So head to head doesn't matter. Until it matters. Say Oregon completely outplays Bama in the playoffs. Double the yardage, time of possession and just clearly the dominant team. But they get a tipped ball pick 6. A TD called back on a bogus penalty and fumble twice inside the 10 before losing by 1 point. Can Oregon go on the the championship? It's not head to head that counts, it's the better team. Until it isn't. If head to head counts in the playoffs it should count in the regular season as well.

Except you asked an ignorant question. None of those teams are even ranked in top 20 and yet FSU trailed LATE to all of them. Add ND to that list as well...
You can't compare the two situations. FSU didn't beat Alabama and then have the possibility of sitting at home and watching them win it all. When both finish 11-1. It makes zero sense.
Go put that in your garbage can!

When you ring out a wet, sour rag, it doesn't matter what comes out first.
