I understand. If its any consolation, whether this Terminator is a hit or not, it's not going to have any sequels.
James Cameron gets the property rights back soon and I'm pretty sure he said, he's not doing anymore Terminators. He most likely will not stick to that but at least we'll get a long break and then when/if Terminator come's back, it'll be a Cameron film.

I think they revert back to him in 2020. I believe they are trying to make a new trilogy. It can be done. That doesn't necessarily mean it should be done.
ETA: 2019. Just looked it up.

From Screen Rant:
"Paramount has now officially dated the two sequels to Genisys for theatrical release in 2017 and 2018, respectively, which lends credence to those older rumors that the films will shoot back to back over the course of nine months.
The first Genisys sequel (which is being called Terminator 2 for now) will reach theaters on May 19th, 2017; that’s one week after a currently-untitled Marvel Studios film (possibly either Inhumans or Thor 3) is due for arrival. Terminator 3 will follow just over a year after on June 29th, 2018."
Of course Genisys could be a total flop and non of this happens. I believe MCG had plans for two more movies after Salvation and that never happened.

Oh ok, well I hope he doesn't just sit on the property like he's implied or said.

Why would a T800's skin age?
I'm probably wrong, but i thought i read somewhere that arnold(as an old guy) would play a human scientist that had a role in creating the t800(thus explaining who the t800 was modeled after)

Okay, I am actually kind of pumped.
My interest has been peaked.

Looks incredibly stupid.
And Emilia Clark is a fat chick waiting to happen. Irrelevant, but just thought I'd share.

as one of the biggest fans of T1 and T2, I am not at all pumped about this movie. The acting looked bad, the future looked too clean for a post apocalyptic world, and it gets too timey wimey.
The first two were classics. Hell, the third would have been good had they either stuck with Ed Furlong(who had the druggie secluded act down pat) or got someone who seemed kind of tough. Stahl was not a believable 20-something Connor imo. But it still felt like a terminator movie.
I don't know what Salvations was supposed to be...

Think he had the druggie part down too well for them to cast him.

I know, which is a shame. Just his and Hamilton's apparent camaraderie with Ahnold would have helped the movie tremendously.
There was a lot wrong with 3:
No Cameron being #1 of course.
No Sarah Connor being #2 Linda Hamilton was supposed to be in the movie but said the script was terrible and didn't want to ruin the first 2 movies. I mean having Sarah fricking Connor die between movies from god damned Leukemia? Who wouldn't have rather seen her die fighting the reprogrammed Ahnold at the end?
Casting being #3 Conner and his girl were both awful.
The campy humor being #4. T1 and 2 had really good comedic moments without being over the top trying to be funny, imo. The gay bar and some of the other humor just felt off in this universe.
The movie wasn't too bad and it actually set up John Conner's survival and eventual rise to power (he was the only one alive who knew wtf was going on) but it could have been a lot better with better direction/acting

I kinda disagree. If you include Sarah she has to die pretty early because you have to see John become his own man.
