I think one of Tulane's frats was involved in a major drug bust a few years ago. Not shocking

Knew a few guys in fraternities at Tulane. Went to a few of their parties, massive amounts of blow everywhere.

My only point is that the only "party" in BR is LSU. Tulane isnt even a pimple on the arse of NOLAs party scene

So the bars are either Fred's or Applebee's? I guess when that is the view, then LSU is all that matters in BR.

your personal preference in BR bars in completely irrelevant to this thread.

I wasn't bringing in personal preference, just stating that BR would be fine without LSU bars.

Im sorry I offended you with the Applebees comment. BR has other great bars, but I dont know of any ones that are considered a party scene besides the ones that exist because LSU. Is that better?

Nah, just strange that Tigerland is what gets LSU the party title. Uptown bars are packed with Tulane students and I am not sure I would call them party bars

A party bar to me is one where you can piss yourself, throwup on your shirt, get in a fight, get a handjob on the dance floor, and not be judged on frowned upon Without LSU, I think these disappear in BR. Nola would still have hundreds without Tulane

Not really. I have been to every SEC school and I truly think our bar scene is by far the rowdiest. Now, I personally hate that about it and like many other schools better.

Rowdiest as in drunk arse holes getting into fights all the time, or rowdiest as in "this bar is nuts, I'm having a fricking blast"?

If it's the latter, UGA blows LSU out of the water

Do you think Vandy deserves to be #5?

More this. Look I love UGAs scene way better, but it is way more tame and under control.

I live in Nashville and hell no. I love it here, and have been to Midtown multiple times. I like the bar scene way better here then LSU, but once again, it is alot more tame

Doesn't Tulane always get a jump in polls like this because of being located in New Orleans?

LSU being rated #21 is generous.

The fact that Vanderbilt is ranked higher than Tulane on this list is laughable.

I partied at LSU a couple of times. I don't remember much of it, but when I recollect, I feel like the bars were all in strip malls or strip mall like buildings. Hard to explain. Or maybe I'm just remembering the Mellow Mushroom. I probably didn't do BR properly.
