A good rule of thumb we learned in Rx school is 20 drops = 1 mL.
So 20 drops would be 30 mg of a 30 mg/mL solution, meaning 10 drops = 15 mg, and 1 drop would be 1.5 mg.
If you're aiming for a 5 mg dose and you don't have a syringe to measure 0.167 mL, go for 3 or 4 drops to give you 4.5 mg or 6 mg, respectively.

10 drops seems like a little much.
