And what happened that year? Despite how amazing it was, he didn't bring home the hardware. I seriously doubt LSU has a defensive team and special teams that great or a player like Mathieu again.

That kid single-handedly changed games, and the QB issues don't seem to be anywhere close to being corrected.

Again, Les is a great coach, but I don't see his luck in the first Bama game that season lining up with that season again. Had that team shown any fight outside of the defense in the NC game, you may have a point.
