OK. Are they going to come play for LSU? Does the fact that you think they're better than Jennings somehow make Harris inherently better than Jennings? I fail to see the connection here. Kind of grasping at straws, it seems.

Look, I agree this is all frustrating. But citing those 3 guys to back up your line of thinking is absurd. None of the 3 have played well.

I understand that 06 but hes OUR liar and it doesn't make it any easier to understand.

I don't lie to the ppl I work with or for...not if I want to keep my job. Miles seems to revel in the idea or is to dumb to keep his lies straight.

not really

both took their lumps this year too, but not really the type of lumps that Harris took vs AU...kid needed to sit. He'll win the job this offseason.

Get used to seeing Jennings play below average football for the next 2 years. It's coming Tiger fans.

Tebow played, but didn't start. He was also very limited.

I don't see a smidgen of evidence pointing to Miles committing to BH as next year's starting QB.
I hate to say it, but I am also unable to believe (based on his past history with JJ/JL/even Mett) that CLM has the slightest intention of changing QBs at LSU. And it is very hard for me to see CLM changing his offense to suit the skill set that AJ does bring to the table. He was not a highly ranked QB in HS for nothing. Same with BH.

But I don't think CLM has the slightest idea of how to eval, improve, or properly utilize his QBs, except as jumping off places for his precious (if limited) run game. He has one model in mind and that only.

The offense we ran against A&M had no changes compared to the rest of the season?

Jordan Jefferson again. We had Mett for one year with the best receivers in a generation and never got it done. I.e. Lost to Bama, Clemson, I.e. The big ones.

Earth-shattering analysis. Bookmarked for later further reading.

I've got a 90% chance next year will be a Jefferson/Lee remake. Miles will have pressure to play Harris. Let's face it, Jennings did not improve throwing during the year. Play calling may have help, but less than 50% completion is bad. Last in the SEC is bad. For some reason Miles has issues picking a QB. I don't understand it. I'm not a Miles basher. I think he is great for the program, but geez get a QB like the other top tier programs. Ohio State was able to develop a QB during the year and he becomes one of the best. Improved every week 64% completion rate. Jenning's just doesn't have that capability. Jennings at 48% and Harris at 55%.

A pattern I've noticed, and we all have, is that of "have success" then stuff it on the shelf (bench). See a familiar pattern of running backs who did not fumble, get injured, or make mistakes, but were actually running through the opponents mysteriously being taken out of the game and sat down on the bench.

If we see the A&M pattern repeated in the bowl game, then I will be willing to happily reconsider. But I fully expect to see LSU back on the old "pound the rock" track of pre-aTm game days. It was just too successful (the aTm adjustments) and must be shelved.

Not sure what you consider "getting it done," but our offense definitely got it done last year. Offense was not the issue.

I've got two things. Heard a stat a while back stating that no SEC QB sophmore, redshirt or no, has won an SEC championship since David Greene at Georgia did it in 2002. Since then it has strictly been Jr's or older. This doesn't it can't be done, just that it is very unusual.

Secondly, if you want proof that Harris has a shot, look at practice. Widely reported that Harris gets 50% of the reps at practice. If Miles was locked in on Jenning going forward, Harris would be getting far less time. Harris is not guaranteed to be the starter. Miles may absolutely love Jennings, but it's still not enough to give him all the majority of practice time with the 1's.

I've made the decision to wait on this one. Miles isn't going anywhere and the truth will present itself at the start of the season next year. We will not get an honest answer in the Spring and I don't expect one. If Jenninigs opens up 2015 and continues to perform at his worst QB ever at LSU level, I doubt many on here will be giving us the all is well speeches.

Harris has been the better QB since the spring game.

I do not see Miles commitment to BH.
Frankly, if the position of QB could be eliminated and the game still played, I think Miles would do it.

Not sure he cares for the position.
