I'm not knocking A&M but in this situation Auburn has the upper hand.

1. Closer to home.
2. He went to Auburn.
3. He's coached at Auburn and was very successful.
4. He has multiple big recruits that's down to Auburn and UF that would likely follow him to Auburn.
5. Gus has more job security than sumlin.

Not saying Auburn doesn't have the edge here, which they very well might, but I think this is actually a big disadvantage. Going back to a position someone left previously doesn't happen often.
