Ummmm...that's an interesting perspective you got there. Just wondering why the line you drew isn't parallel to the line on the field!!??????

Because the line I drew is vertical, just like the camera. Our player is directly in front of the football. All that matters is whether his head is directly over the football or if as is shown in the picture he doesn't get that far. The black line put in by the TV crew is meaningless. It shows where a foot on the ground would cross the line of scrimmage, not where the line would be 3 feet higher where our players head is positioned.
EDT: That little bit of the line that is directly in front of him that matters.
