"Hands Up Don't Shoot" Makes No Sense in the Brown Shooting

"Hands Up Don't Shoot"
I've read all disclosed evidence from the grand jury hearing and just read the officer's testimony.
Michael Brown attacked the officer and was attempting to grab his gun. At no point did he place his hands up or acknowledge the police authority.
I don't understand why the community of protesters has been led to believe he was gunned down unlawfully, or why this was even investigated to begin with.

They were going to riot regardless.

All about the narrative. No trouble.

He did at one point in the story early. I was confused about that part though. But it doesn't matter, because after that, he attacked again. And the rioters stopped listening or believing anything after the hands were raised, so I wouldn't sweat trying to understand them.

It was created by an activist at the scene. It had no basis in reality.
This has basically been proven by this point.

This is a local NOLA lawyer FYI. His name is James Williams of Gauthier-Houtaling. He represents Dorian Johnson.

This is the guy that created the meme:
Anthony Shahid. A well known agitator.
You can see him consulting with Dorian Johnson and other "witnesses" (all of whom have been proven to be complete liars) at the scene.
And here he is, single handidly creating the meme:
Total bullshite.

Because Mike Brown was "The Gentle Giant" because everyone said so.

Williams is in St. Louis, and made the media circuit Friday (Aug. 22) to redirect attention from his client and toward the officer who shot Brown, Darren Wilson.
Johnson said in interviews immediately after the shooting that Wilson shot Brown as he was running away.
Skeptics have assailed Johnson's credibility, pointing to a prior arrest for lying to officers. They also note that a recently released autopsy shows that Wilson's bullets struck Brown from the front, which they say contradicts Johnson's story.
Williams defended Johnson's credibility.
There's a reason why someone's prior criminal history is not usually admissible in court, he said; it's usually irrelevant to the veracity of their testimony.
Credibility should be established in the context of other evidence, Williams said, and, in this case, the evidence aligns with Johnson's version of events.

Williams is good at what he does. One of the best trial lawyers in the State, from what I've heard. Never met him, just heard through the grapevine.

I don't know him, but this seems tough:

B/C Po-Po refused to release cop's version until after the Grand Jury, months after incident. Dumbass move IMHO. Allowed all sorts of BS stories to circulate.

Well you've provided some ground breaking info here sir.

The bottom line is the justice system worked the way it was designed. The case went before a jury and a decision was made based on the evidence at hand. Despite how loud some people scream, their volume does not make their opinion correct. We aren't in 1955, this isn't emmett till.
If the case wasn't presented to a jury, then by all means there should be a protest.
The truth is that none of the people protesting were present when the events unfolded. the protesters are basing their stance on a statement made by an individual who was an accessory to a robbery. The jury didn't buy it.
MLK said he dreamed of a time when his children would be judged by their character, not by their skin color. Well, I think it's pretty clear we weren't dealing with people of high character.

The narrative started the day of the shooting, within minutes of it occuring. Unarmed, innocent black teenager killed by police officer in cold blood.
Nothing was ever going to change that.
