Okay. so long story short, not doing the usual thanksgiving this year b/c i have two people in the hospital in 2 separate states, a new job, a break up. blah blah blah.
Got an invite to someone else's meal and offered to bring something. They said all the need is more stuffing.
Can I buy it somewhere this late in the week and it still be decent? called Zeeland market and of course they arent taking orders anymore. Any plate lunch places you have seen stuffing already made that is decent? Grocery stores like trader joe's or calandro's?
If not, then I need a relatively easy recipe since I may be spending the night at the hospital again

is cooking not an option?

Does it have to be "stuffing"? I'd bring cornbread dressing, myself. It's "stuffing" to me.

Also, Calvin's had an add for Thanksgiving sides. They keep some of that made in their prepared food section if you don't need a ton of it. I have no idea whether it's good, but I would expect it to be acceptable.

Stuffing or dressing is easy. Old cornbread, crackers, bread, whatever. Fine diced white onion and celery sweated off. A couple three eggs. Salt, pepper, sage. Mix together with a four cups of turkey or chicken stock.
Pour that slop in an aluminum baking pan and bake at 350 until it's done but not dry.
Sorry. Don't have accurate measurements for you. I go by eye when making dressing.

I got everything I needed at Bellue's. Paid a pretty penny for it, but glad that Ill be able spend more time with the family.

Sometimes its worth the pretty penny to do that. No one wanted to deal with cooking the turkey, so we had this local woman cook it. She delivered it to my house hot from the oven a little while ago. Took it out before she would have normally. We'll give a little warming up in the oven and be good to go. Too many other things to cook and no one wanted to fool with it. We've done that the past several years and its just fine.
