You two try to keep your hands off each other.

Do you know what a Rock Hudson putt is?
Posted on 11/25/14 at 1:19 pm to Jax-Tiger
It's a putt that looks straight, but it's not...

So far:
Started with Strawberry Basil and Mexican Hot Chocolate at District
Then sandwiches with the grumpy Jew next door followed by caulking the wagons and floating (Oregon Trail reference)
Then beer at last!
Started with their Gose, lacked citrus, extremely briny. Not really tart. Pretty bad. I was informed that this one tastes about like jizz, which makes me feel bad for women everywhere.
We moved on to their DIPA and Pumpkin ale. The DIPA is damn good, the pumpkin is okay.

Can you give a little more detail on your thoughts about the pumpkin? I remember last year it being stellar.

What is new on the beer menu at Old Rail?
When I went I had the 7, Cow, Gose, echo, hobo, rusted rail, and the boysenberry Belgian

Well, I had the Robért and she had the Turkey Panini from next door. Thanks for monitoring our diets, though
The pumpkin is so-so. The flavors are there, but it finishes maltier than I'd like.
tduecen, it's the 7, ESB, Cow catcher, helles, rusted rail ale, DIPA, and pumpkin ale

There is a reason it is number 5 on the best beers in La list and has never been out of the brewpub.
