I'm with you, if I'm buying a truck it's going to have a V8. If I need something easy on gas I'll buy a beater car.

my truck has 7.3 liters and can tow a house, so I'm on the sidelines until i see something that impresses me. but 3000lb payload at 24mpg gasoline is nothing to scoff at imo. of course i've never actually driven it, so i'm reserving judgment.
